The Client is one of the fastest growing Voice over IP companies in the world. They deliver an exciting range of National and International IP based pre and post paid Services. They require a determined and focused Technical Director to manage and implement their new SIP based Network. You will have extensive experience of VoIP and Prepaid and Postpaid services, and be passionate about VoIP technology.
The client is a fast growth company focused on the delivery of VoIP services. The Founders of the company have been working with VoIP since 1997 and bring with them a wealth of experience that has enabled the company to produce a turnover in the double digit millions in just 2 years.You will be hard working, focused, determined, quick thinking, customer orientated and entrepreneurial and most important be passionate about VoIP and VoIP services.You will have a detailed knowledge of IP and IP Networks, you will have experience of developing IP based voice applications based on H323, MGCP and SIP. You will be comfortable signing off on the acquisition of new technology and be willing to be accountable for the success or failure of your decisions.Your specific project will be to work closely with the MD and Operations Director to decide on the new SIP network architecture, to work closely with the chosen vendors to deploy the solution and also have the ability to manage the network on an ongoing basis. You will also be expected overtime to manage a team of telecom engineers however your focus will remain technical and not managerial.You will need:· Detailed understanding of Interneto TCP*IP Traffico ISP Operationso Web Blockingo VPN Tunnels· Detailed understanding of VoIP and Telecomso G729, G723, G711o H323, SIP, MGCPo ISDN, FX0, FXS o Packet Bufferingo Cisco VoIP Productso Session Border Controllerso VoIP Gatewayso Firewallso Secure VPN`s· Web Programming Skillso HTML, Java Script, Perl· Database Design Expertiseo SQL· PC Support and Operating Systems Set upo Windows & Linuxo MySQL Servero Firewallso Secure VPN`s· Cisco Certification o Ideally CCNAThis role would be ideally suited to a hard working and determined Telecoms*IP Engineering Director who is keen to move onto the next stage in their career, and do so in a fast growing company with excellent future prospects.
